The Fire Sentry FS17X
Electro-Optical Multi-Spectral Flame Detector senses the WideBand
Infrared™ (IR) radiant energy of blackbody particulate and molecular
emissions generated by both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon flames and
fires.
Additionally, the detector’s sensor
array senses Visible Band (VIS) and NearBand IR to further discriminate
against false fire sources. The FS17X WideBand Multi-Spectral sensor
array spans 0.4 to 3.0 microns and features a wide 120° field of view.
This fire and flame detector is Factory Mutual approved for use in Class
I, Division 2 (Zone 2) hazardous locations. It is available in a
polypropylene housing, is rated IP67, dust tight, leak-proof and water
tight to 1 meter.
